    My new GT-S

the first few pics with flat paint are pre turbo. the rest that are kinda shiny (18 bucks in paint and sand paper) are turbo. yes the intercooler is crooked, i just tell people its for the jdm lean and they leave me alone about it. the whole setup was under 1g and so far im very happy with it. i dynoed with a severe boost leak that would only hold just over 6.5psi and made 150rwhp and 156rwtq on a mustang dyno (~170whp on a dynojet). the setup is all bone stock except for gze 365cc injectors, gutted tvis, and the turbo setup itself.

and a couple videos... night time one was with a bad fuel pump, 3/4 throttle and just over 5psi vs. 20v gts hatch. day time was just over 7psi full throttle 15mph to almost 90mph in second and third (wait til the last half of the video for the nice pull).

Cool car. I really haven't seen too many of these turboed, especially for under $1K. Does that $1K project cost include the price of the car? I'm guessing you must have done the labor too, right?

the car was a thousand bucks... then making it go from 16.8 at 85 to a piss poor 14.8 at 95 took 1 week of work and less than a thosand bucks. yes, i did all my own labor.

Looking good - all you need to do is hide the FMIC with some black paint or put something in the grille to obscure it a bit. Better to know are fast instead of advertising it - plus side is that the other guys wil not know whats there unless you have a noisy BOV - the perfect sleeper.

i dont drive it much. and its down at the moment because a bad fuel pump and im saving to build a good bottom end. but as for your question, since 2000 when i got my first gts ive only been pulled over 1 time for "noise" and no ticket was issued. when i have the whole exhaust on it sounds awesome and isnt all that loud (2.25dp to 3inch underdiff to 3inch burns stainless muffler, no cat).

turismo: thanks man, im not gonna agree or disagree but thanks haha

ive got major freakin plans for the engine though, its going to perform awesome when im done.
