    ROFLMAO....

stock engines the most you'll get is maybe some mid to high 13s but thats about all you'll get.

if you beef up the engine, its possible to shave off another second or so, but without heavy work to the transmission, differental, etc... you're not going to approach anything below that.

Those times sound like the Fensport Corolla - the one with the 3SGTE and AWD system pulled from a Celica GT4. To pull those times from a turbo'd 1ZZFE would be one hell of a feat. I'd say 14s is more realistic, if you don't want to invest a small fortune into this. Beefup the driveline and engine components, like Vortex pointed out, then maybe 13s consistently. To pull even those numbers - the Fensport with its AWD system needed 450HP+ to get in the low 12s, high 11s. That's a big number for the 1ZZFE engine.

^that's what i was thinking. IMO, old skool rollas have way more potential because of their RWD, and i know for a fact the 3TC in those old skoolers are beasts =\. Starting with the FWD rollas here in the states, you could probably run mid or low 14s safely, stock internals and everything. I have yet to see an evo/sti/srt-4 KILLA ROLLA!

You should start looking at getting an engine swap first.

    14.2- 14.6 with stock wheels and 195/60R14 tires, 15.0 on the 18's running 8 PSI on a non-intercooled turbo.

BTW i no longer have stock internals, i just don't want to push it and have to get another engine, i have gone through too many already.

so realistically even with punching the motor out to a 1.9 (close to 2.0) and all the internal work and blah blah blah just all out upgraded, best run could/would be in the 12's?

i'm sure i could push out more but i'm afraid to do it, right now the amount that is in it should get it a damn good time to even lower than the 14.2 i have hit numerous times, but if i wined up having to get another engine it will make it my fifth one! right now everything on the engine has been upgraded and bored and stroked by 3 degrees and it has made it rev happy but its a scary thought to go and spend another 3.5 grand on another engine.

Hasn't it ever occured to you that maybe, just maybe the 1ZZ-FE wasn't designed to handle prodigious amounts of power? I know for one that I would realize it and learn my lesson after going through one engine.... but 3 engines?! :superconf

    Damn

If I do plan to mod my Corolla to the extent that some hardcore members have here, I will definitely invest in an engine swap first.

i know i can run lower numbers for sure, but for a daily driver and considering how much it takes to build an engine, i'll stick with what i have for now. i could push for 10 or more but i'm afraid to do so, even with the computer telling me i can handle 12psi safely, Plus remember I have reinforced the front end and have added weight on the rear , and in additon to the computer storage in the trunk it weighs considerably more. but i know i could push for more. All it takes is the flick to two switches i have. One electronic control of the turbo and the other is the duration opening of the fuel injectors and timing duration which is slowed a tad bit more than the current stock VVt-i system.

I would too but for what the car is and how it drives i wouldn't trade it. its small , handles very well, stops extremely quick and rides good, Even before i had crap on my car i still loved it and have grown to it even more, the 98-02 gen models are the only ones i like best due to thier lower center of gravity and straightline styling, the 03 and up are too big and drive awkward IMO, the new corolla coming out it lower than the current model and less bulgy.

tires are a headache especially when your car is pretty much dropped all the way to the ground.

Yes, it's blown, but I have a nice 1.94L block with 8.8:1 pistons and rods that should be ready in 2-3 weeks.
