which front clip did you get? supra or soarer?

btw...what are you doing with that 7m-ge head? I sure could use an upgrade on the 7m-gte...(and yes...it's a common upgrade) :p

No, it's not going into a 9th gen. But if you want me to swap one into your 9th gen, I would. :)

We went with the Supra front clip.

I you'll have to ask him, I think that the whole engine is going into another car though. Update time now:

Doc, the engine looked great and brand new with the polished part including the blackout trim. Is that the Eibach springs next to your table that you ordered? Tell Dan great job and ask him if he wants to polish my rims?

    -AD

Yes, the 7M is planned to go into another supra but depending on the rebuild cost. We'll know more for sure after Doc is finished with this project.

Wait until you see it in person. The pics don't even do it justice :) Yes, those are your springs! If the engine goes in smoothly this weekend then I'll be doing that on Monday most likely. I'll ask Dan about the rims. :)

Very nice work Dr. Tweak. 1JZ > 7M FTW!

Its ashame the owner didn't go single during the swap. Those ceramic pea-shooters can't handle too much boost.

careless if the ct-12a's couldn't handle the boost...it's still a very strong motor...I only heard something along the lines of it being as strong, if not stronger, than the 2jz...I'm green with envy over here...

it's hard to find people in colorado that have those motors for sale....it's even harder to find a junk yard motor....
