    Hey all,

So, I'm here looking for a new family after NGC went to an early grave.

In particular, if anyone knows C-Ro11a from NGC (he appears to be on here too, if not active, but I can't send a PM yet), can you send me his number or something? Thanks.

lol, an early grave? 9gc has had problems for a while and it's death was imminent IMO.

Soooooo, welcome to TRD, your relief for all things off-topic.

lol, yeah, maybe true, but still, we weren't ready for it yet! I wish we'd at least known that it was gonna go belly up - we could've saved tons of useful information, including DIYs and stuff! (Not to mention, for once, I was seriously active there and needed the forums to stay in touch with a few people!)

It seems that the owner didn't specialize in paying bills or, in general, giving a damn about the site.

"Sweet" is a highly subjective word. At the moment, it's a little more like a "good start" on restoring a beater.

I'll give some specs, pics maybe next week after I get it back from my mechanic, because it needs a good bit of work (bad clutch, some paint and body work). She's an 'o6 Impulse Red Corolla LE 5 spd, with 70k miles and few significant mods as of yet. Bought her new in June '06.

As of next week, it'll have a new Exedy clutch (OEM) and an AC Delco flywheel. I was going to go for an Exedy Stage 1, but I couldn't find any absolute confirmation that the ones I found would fit.

    So, a short list:

    - Exedy clutch and ACDelco Flywheel with Redline MT-90 fluid (Next Wednesday)
    - XRS front strut tower bar
    - Scion tC wheels (just bought 'em, need to clean up some curb rash, then I'm painting them bronze for the spring)
    - Tein S-Techs (have them, but never put them on, pairing them up with some KYBs in the spring)
    - DIY Grounding Kit (4 gauge oxygen free copper wiring, soldered ring terminals)
    - LED strip foot well and trunk lighting
    - LED center console conversion
    - Braided stainless clutch and brake lines with ATE Super Blue fluid and speed bleeders (pending install next week)
    - eBay special OEM style foglights with DDMTuning 3000k Raptor HIDs
    - Siemens low beam HID kit (5000k)
    - Painted plastic engine cover (in progress, body color)
    - K&N Stock High Flow Filter (shockingly, it makes an appreciable difference)

Not too terrible, she's going to be brought up to pretty good condition this upcoming spring. In addition to the things above that I do have but haven't installed, I'm planning for some other things as well which I'll pick up over the winter.

    - UltraRacing front and rear four point upper strut tower bars
    - XRS Rear Disc brake conversion
    - Secret Weapon SRI intake (pending some research)
    - Stock Corolla "S" body kit (if I can find it for a good price)

So, if all goes well, I think that should make her a pretty nice ride by next summer.

I think that's not too far from the truth. I was also hunting a specific user, and had to sign up to search or post for him. So, hopefully I'll hear from him soon.
