You notice a difference? I've been considering doing this.

I got some dynomat for the rear speakers to lessen the vibrations. When it gets warmer out Im gonna do it. And prorably get the whole trunk done as much as i can. Looks good. Does there seem to be a very noticable diffrence?

The difference is not that noticable, and it's probably because I put only one layer. I'll put second layer when I have time next week.

Hey Darren try using some foam sealant in conjunction with the dynamat, it should reduce the rattles.

I have used foam sealant for now to reduce rattles and it works, I just got to put some dynamat in and I should be fine most of my rattles comes from the rear deck mostly.

Yes I just went back from OSH (something like HomeDepot but smaller), and they didn't carry any large piece of foam but foam tape. Could you please tell me where you got yours?

Nice. I'll go get it later after work.

BTW, do they smell or anything? Do you spraying it on the plastic door panel? Or on the metal door frame? Anything I should be aware of when I am doing it?

    Thanks a lot.

I put it through the holes of the door frame and trunk lid, it doesnt smell, but u might want to wear gloves when doing it cuz it tends to give u some sticky fingers it gets on ur hand. You might want to get 4 cans of it, Ive used only 2 and it was not enough, i think 4 or more should be fine.

BTW....this is expanding foam so when u spray it expands for a good while. 8)

Is there any techniques you recommend? do you have any warping from the foam? I've heard panels can do that if u spray too much

So is the foam still sticky after it dries up? Is it easy to be removed from the door? Just in case we need to open up the door panel and access to something inside.

Nope after the foam dries it hardens a bit and thats it. It shouldnt be a problem because it does not stick but if ur worried just put it on the spots or holes u might not need access to anymore. When I did it I can still open my door panel and access the electrics and speaker after the foam.

no foam warping for me......do not spray and close up the hole with any tape, doing that causes the warping. Do not use on the rear deck cuz there is no holes in which u want to cover up.

Also make sure when doing the front door panels leave urself room to access the speakers and electrics.
