    signal bulbs

I'm looking for some clear or chrome signal bulbs that glow orange or amber. The ones I have now are clear, but they glow white and ga law says that signal bulbs must be orange or yellow/amber. ANY help at all is appreciated.

$20!? That seems kinda steep for a set of signal bulbs. But i guess if thats my only choice, then that's what i'm going with. Thanks a ton. Also, do you have any pics? I'm interested to see how the chrome bulbs will look as oposed to the clears.

You also might want to check out Sylvania's site for Silver Star signal bulbs. I believe this is a new product that appears clear (or maybe blue) and lights up amber. I'm not sure if they're available in 3157's.

Also, what's $20 when you're potentially spending 100's or 1000's modding your car?

A guy on ebay has them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3238790591&category=371&rd=1 I've been thinking about buying them but still not sure what to do with my money. Someone reccommended this auction before. The silverstar ones are in our size and bluish looking but light up "amber", but they look like yellow to me. And bimmernut didn't you say that the ones you bought also lit up yellow not amber.

The set that I bought from Lightlens.com are indeed amber and they appear like a mirror when not activated. I'm happy for $20.

Hey bimmernut, can you post a pic of them during the day? I want to see how the chrome looks when not glowing.

I'll see if I can't borrow a digital camera... don't have one myself since I don't think that the technology rivals film camera just yet...

Here's the pics... I hope this is a convincing argument on why it's worth spending a measly $20.
