    Side Moulding worries???

Just wondering for all of you guys who have removed their side mouldings...
aren't you guys scared that if you park at a mall or something, somebody might
ding up your door when they open their door to get out of their car? Just wondering
if those of you w/o side mouldings ever fear about that. :?:

    Side Mouldings

Those who have removed there side moldings:
If you have a lunar mist corolla-S and have removed your side mouldings, i would buy them off you.
    Reply if you have them

Honestly, I don't see how it's going to stop a door ding. The height of it just wouldn't seem right.. most SUV/trucks will hit the door way above that, as do a lot of cars.

Mine's shaved... I think it's looks cleaner like that, and everytime I wax it, the residues don't get underneath the moldings... just a personal preference I guess :p

But then again, we have to parallel park at work and I rarely use my car to go to the store.. so I don't worry about dings at all.

Hehehehehe. "Real" forum members would never park close enough to another car to ever get a door ding!!

Man, I park OUT IN THE BOONIES -- as far away as I can possibly find from where-ever I'm going, hoping to avoid door dings. "Get near a curb," so I can get a half-inch away from it, giving the Yahoo in the next spot over more room to get everyone out of his car.

And so on. My previous car was a 96 Paseo, and I never got a ding of any kind on that. I plan to do likewise with the new Corolla! :p
