    REAR DECK SPEAKER INSTALL

I'm having trouble getting the rear deck off my 04 corolla S...I followed the DIY guide but I am getting caught up on this step:
Remove the molding from the C pillars. Start from the top, and firmly pull down. Some of the plastic clips may slip out of the molding. Use a panel tool, or carefully use your fingers to remove the clips and replace them into the side molding.

The deck just wont pull loose easily and I am afraid to pull it away because I think it will damage it. I have broken one of the 2 flat rear clips that hold the deck in the back that you can get to by reaching under the frame of the trunk.
I have used a screwdriver with a socket for different tips (without a flathead or phillips head) to push up the 3 white pegs that bolt the rear deck onto the frame. I also pulled away part of the molding around the doors and around the 2 pieces that form together that are bolted down with those weird screws.
Does anyone have any tips or pictures of the install? I think that it would be helpful to post these or I could even take pictures of my progress so far for the website. I know this is an 03 forum; sorry...is the 04 different?

Did you remove the C-pillar trim? You say you're getting stuck at that step and then you talk about getting the rear deck out. You must get the C-pillar trim off first. If not you'll have a tough time getting the rear deck out.

maybe thats what I am getting stuck on....describe the C pillar trim. Is that the side panels that are separate from the deck and run at a diagonal along the rear window, or is that around the door? I have pealed back some trim, and i can lift the deck up and see the speakers, but its still attatched somehow--and i think it is those diagonal panels that run along the window that are holding me up.
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it...right now it is snowing so I can't get to it, but I will take pics for the site if I get a chance. It was just a little frustrating and I gave up at the time. I am dying to hear my new speakers!!! :)

I thought I had a picture of it somewhere... Here it is:

The red marks indicate where the trim clips are that hold the C-pillar trim in place. Be careful not to break them.
