can seats really be bad? I mean if you want I guess you could just get trd ones, but they all look the same to me.

A seat....is a seat.....is a seat....is a seat......NOT. Not all seats are created equal. Some poorly made seats are just cut foam(not injection molded) and may loose their shape quickly, the frame construction may just be stamped metal, or a poorly welded metal frame. The material may wear or pill up very quickly on a cheap seat. Also are the hinges well constructed? If you get into an accident and the seat were to collapse backwards you could face serious spinal damage. Not all aftermarket seats are the same, so paying $150 for a seat is not the same as paying $500 for a Sparco or a Recaro. There are some good quality seats for less money but you need to really inspect them and find out the construction and warranty. Your factory seat must pass crash standards. Just my 2 cents but there are some areas where you don't take shortcuts, like trusting a $50 helmet.

This is the seat that you should be looking at (Cobra Misano). Possibly one of the best aftermarket seats...

Since the Misano is ~$1200 per seat, I'd just purchase one. In the name of vanity (if you have the cash), purchase two.

Sparco has a new seat coming out soon called the SIena that is less expensive than their other seats and will offer some of the same support and features. Here's a link to their site:

I have sat in one of these seats and it's very comfortable! Plus it's not too expensive compared to the Cobra or the higher end Sparcos.
