    Pictures of Snow

Just some random pictures we took on our trip up north to visit our family at the end of December... the road we we're on has a (mostly) speed limit of approximately 60mph (check the condition of the roads, heh)...

Just to show the amount of ice on stuff...

    Just looked cool...

The longest covered bridge in the world...

And some snacks for the drive...

    So yeah...

Yeah, we have a ton of covered bridges in our province... they are pretty cool, some of them are beautiful in their settings (over a river, with an old growth forest growin right up to the bridge, beautiful)

Those roads are (at least look to be) great - wait until it melts and re-freezes...that sucks. :p

Were you running snows or all-seasons?

You seriously find those roads look great? :p The storm that happened the 1.5 days before was hail and freezing rain and then snow over it... it was great :p

I have Studded Winters... they handle the snow pretty good...

took one look at the picture you took of the sign saying it's the longest bridge and the first thing that came to mind was "sleepy hallow". cool pictures. Nice to see snow once in a great while.

If it's ice under the snow, then bleh..but if it's just snow, it's not that bad - what sucks is when you have a road that looks fine, but it has ice patches on it.

Cool - so that is what they are called up there, Timbits. At least in the northeastern part of the US they call those things Munchkins. Learn something new all the time.

hahaha actually that's on the Big Island. Not Oahu, where I'm from. Big Island has both lava and snow at the very top of Kilauea but that's about the only place there's snow in Hawaii.

I did however drive through a tunnel in switzerland that I was gasping for air near the end.. it took like 18 minutes @ 70mph to get through it
