    options for lowering

So i've been looking on the internet for a drop kit for "the S"....we have TRD, Eibach, and some others......anyway. as it stands now, i only want to drop it about an inch...inch and a half. So my main question out off all you folks that have dropped yours...which drop has good performance but still has a nice overall ride??? that is the question. Also if i only drop it 1.1 or so....do i need a different size shock or can i stick with the factory sizes? any help would be much appreciated.

if theres two topics that have been beat to death here, its springs and tail lights.

    search.

if you only want to go down an inch, go TRD.

any drop will kill stock struts, eventually. course they will die eventually anyway.

there are some here that have dropped 1.75 (hotchkis) and are still on their stock struts after a year.

    it depends i suppose...

There's also Tein H.Tech, which is not nearly as big a drop as the S.Tech.

    the lowering topic

well let me say that although i do appreciate the imput from you folks....there is no need to hear people bitch about how tired they are about talking about this topic. i apologize, but i am new to the site and am still getting accustomed to how it works. all i am doing is "trying" to talk to people that have delt with issues like this before and get some imput. So rather then complaining like little children about what your tired of....how about some help for the people who are looking to customize there car! And for those of you with the postive imput...it is much appreciated. i hope i can return the favor at a later point.

eariler today I had a question about short air intakes...so I searched for 'short air'...

amazing how many topics came up...tons and tons...

this forum is a huge resource...its like an iceberg, the front page is only the tip.

the search feature is your friend.

I ended up not posting anything today cause I found everything I was wondering just from the older posts (that and the most relevant post is from oct 2003, I felt wierd about resurrecting it)
