    i dont think thats real cuz if it was THAT COLD that the floor would freeze, why is th ocean still not frozen or at least have ice patches?

    i think it takes more time to freeze an ocean compared to water on top of a car... i think its real...

    Also, unless middle school chemistry escapes me, salt water is hard to freeze.

    I'm sure they have pretty solid rust protection from the factory considering how much snow they get over there.

    A large body of salt water will not freeze overnight, first the salt and other impurities lowers the freezing temperature of the water, secondly a large body of water takes a long time to cool down because the cold is dissipated over a large volume of water. I believe that those pictures are real, I remember seeing a site that had like 20 or 25 pictures of this ice storm, doubtful anybody would have photoshopped them all (and they look almost too realy to be photoshopped).

    Well if I remember correctly, [been out of school for many years now] any body of water is harder to freeze and heat up. Land can change temperatures both ways much more quickly.
    Its real. I got a Powerpoint slide of those vehicles once. Crazy stuff.
