    My seatbelt is stuck...

It's stuck in the fully retracted position. When I pull, it locks so I have no chance of putting it on. How can I reset it? I've tried turning the car off and on and that does nothing. I'm really hoping I don't get stopped or have an accident before I can get this fixed...

Not yet. Finals started this week so I have ZERO free time until Friday.

Make sure that the belt is not caught in something and not fully retracked back into the housing. If that is not the case - you need to open up the house at the bottom - might have to pull the trim away to get at it. Might be a case of something jammed in the mechanism.

Definitely do not drive the car unless you get this fixed. Get a rental - don't put yourself at risk for lack of time. This of the year is a nutty time - finals, holidays, people rushing to get things done - your chance of getting busted for belt or getting into an accident couldn't be any greater.
