    JL Audio - Need Prices

I'm thinking about going with JL Audio for the subs... instead of the Infinity Perfects, but it still depends on price.

I need the price for these:

    H.O. wedge - HO112R-26v2

    ALSO

    12W6v2

I need input though, if I just get a 12W6v2, I'd have to get a box.... would it sound/be best if I just went with the H.O. Wedge if the price isn't too high? Anyways, thanks. I would go with Infinity.. but I hear such great things about JL subs and I've heard two 12"s with only 300 watts to each and they sound amazing. I plan on putting 400 watts @ 2 ohms to the sub...

Go JL's all the way...the bass is so bangin that it feels like your whole body's gettin a massage. Only thing is the price is kind of steep...around $300 for what your asking for: 12w6v2.

What are the Infinity you have and the JL your wife have?

I heard Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 is really good (SQL). How is it compared to JL's sub (witht the same price range of Perfect 12, about 150 shipped)?

JL is a real good choice.
That's what I would get if I had money. :)
My friend had 12W6 and he got it for $180 or so. It was a good deal.
JL 12W6 is 6 ohm speaker. If you bridge the speaker, it's 3 ohm. If you bridge the amp too, then it's 1.5 ohm?

Before you run out and buy something for the brand name, check out the competition... Fosgate for one has incredible values... I came from owning JL 10w6s in my previous car using PPI and MTX amps... I now run strictly RF. Obviously better brand is 100% opinion, however in the experience I have, if you want disgusting bass thats super clean try the RF HE2s and their BD series amps... and if you want MORE then do a pair of the Fosgate HX2s with a BD1001 amp... they run in very small enclosures, either sealed or ported... clean as hell and hit like crazy. If you hate fosgate... which is nuts cause they are an awesome brand, go with Alpine... the Type R 12s and the new 1000 watt alpine amp is a super clean combo that also hits very well. Infinity perfects arent the cleanest sub in the world but they can also be made very loud and are efficient to boot...
