    Homemade Grille Mesh Anyone?

Someone told me that I can make my own Mesh.
I know that Mesh is not that expensive, but I am still interested in making one.

Instead of buying/ordering it, I can grab something similar from a hardware store and shape it to fit my Rolla.

If you have doen this, please let me know how you did it.

For some reason, I can't get anything to pop up in 'Do It Yourseft' page.

I need an instruction on removing what's currently there and replacing it with the homemade.

Please write down step-by-step instruction....... I don't know why but I can't get the link to work.

    I am confused.....

When I took the factory one out, the whole thing came off, including the frame.
Don't I need to frame the new mesh to make it fit in there.
Do I need to buy a new frame?
Or, is there a way to keep the factory frame and just remove the horizontal bars that are holding the Toyota logo?

you will need to get the altis grill from Ebay and put the home depot mesh in it. Or you can use a dremel and shave all the horizontal things of the stock one. I wouldnt though, simply couse I dont like how it looks with mesh there.

you are goin to need some kind of molding frame to put bak on the car then you can put your own grill in. It would be easier to buy the Altis rs frame and put your own grill. The rs fra,el comes with a grill already. Tthe frame is what you need inorder to have the grill to fit. It goes for 35 dollars but when you add shipping it hits you hard and costs 60 dollars. It would make life easier.

When you go to get your mesh inserts, go to the hardware store and look at the gutters. I just bought a piece of aluminum 99 cent gutter gaurd and it looks a hell of a lot better than the mesh that come with the aftermarket grille.
