    Hella 1182 fogs

I spent about 3 hours the other day installing these new fogs to replace my old ones which got cracked and shattered from the elements. All I have to say is WOW. I switched from normal parabolic fogs to projector and it really illuminates everything in yellow light. It's got a really sharp cutoff too which looks pretty cool when you're stopped behind someone at night. The projector lense is also tinted so it looks blue when it's turned off and purple when it's on. Kinda stealthy. hehe. All that yellow light projected and the lens doesn't even show it. My HID and now these foglights work perfectly with each other since my fogs fill in almost exactly where my headlights don't cover. I'd recommend any of the Hella lineup. Quality lights for little price. I went for a canyon run and visibility was so much better than with my old pair. I just wish I had projector headlights or a retrofit as well.

they'll look different on my car since 1 - there's a spot built into the bumper for them and 2 - it's not a Toyota. :D

oh don't get me started on the EJ25 turbo swap i'm saving for...

though i've heard lots of good things about getting an older EJ20 turbo from a Ver. 2 or 3 STi. it doesn't help that Agile Auto(one of the best Subie 'swappers on the east coast) is practically in my backyard, either.

I'm actually saving up right now for a 2004 WRX STI. I've been wanting to have a second car that has power and control and yet still able to drive daily.

pray you dont have much money after you buy your car because if you do, it will be a never ending process of upgrades for your car. So much more available than the corolla and most people i know, they either 1. give in and their daily driver becomes a track car almost or 2. they arent able to make enough money and they never end up upgrading.

    Lights off.
Fogs on. It's a blue/purple tint when it's turned off. It's a really bright yellow turned on. Can't see it during the day. I'll post a pic of it at night with the sharp cutoff it has.
