Electrical connections...

Solder is always your best bet for electrical connections. It also takes longer and you'll prolly end up buring something (that what happens to me at least) Most of the connectors you can buy at Autozone work great. Male/Female connectors are awesome becasue if you choose to remove some thing it's as easy as unpluggin it. Hope I've helped.

The connectors will work just as good and won't be as permanent. I use connetors all the time

When you solder is basically turns it into one wire. If you change you mind later you can always snip the wire. No biggie.

solder and use heat shrink it may take longer but it looks so much cleaner

I personnally like connectors a lot. Even lots of audio shops use these instead of soldering wires.

Connectors are great, but definitely are not as full proof. Working in the install business, many retailed that use connectors often have their cars brought to us cause of their pissed off customers that are irrate because of the crimps always coming loose. Soldering is what we do and is the best and full proof way of going. Crimps are usable... as long as you make sure that you crimp them down STRONG.

I still recommend solder.

In that enviroment they can work loose and cause all sorts of problems. The splice or butt connectors are the ones I always had trouble with. They save time on install but can work loose.

I hate butt conncetors and anything that you have to crimp hard. I am very weak. I weight only 135lbs. and i am 6ft. tall. Im skinny as f*ck. Crimping is just too hard for me. And Im a very lazy person, so soldering is not gonna happen, and thats why I love connectors a lot.

Crimping isn't that hard. I'm 6' also and 135lbs too. I use butt connectors all the time. I haven't had one come loose yet.

Maybe thats just an excuss for me to be lazy.
