    bbk install... huge pics...

spend like 7 hrs removing the old and installin the brake kit... like 2 hrs of that was just reading instructions and trial and error...

no lunch or breakfast... ate like a pig when i had dinner... lol...

anyway... dunno if i want to make a diy thing... i took like 30 pics in the install... and it was pretty straight forward...

remove tire, remove caliper by removing two screws in the back, remove brake line, remove rotor... cutting dust shield....

wah la... on goes the new caliper bracket, installing the hub to the rotor was a bitch... put on the two piece rotor... put on the caliper... install the new brake lines...

damn... talk about brake lines.... the ss brakelines did not fit good... had to enlarge the mounting part on the strut, and the top mount where the hardline is did not fit... and it was too short.... by like 1 inch.

called fastbrakes and he said that he will mail me out a new one...

doing the brake line install took the longest... like 2 hrs maybe... most of the time thinkin wut could be done...

hate being the guiena pig all the time... it sucks... especially when i dont get a discount or anything.... i have to pay full price for the mofo kit...

enough with the bitchin... after bleedin the brakes... that took forever too... got the car lowered, and tried it out.... the brakes actually worked... haha... it squaked a whole lot at the beginning... but after i drove it for 5 miles... it went away... brake pedal is much firmer then before... ill try it on a stock corolla and compare it later... it bite harder too... i havent broken it in yet... so i havent done a hard stop... ill keep u guys informed...

oh btw... the stock calipers weigh about 10.5lbs and the stock rotors weigh about 11lbs...

new calipers weigh in at...4 lbs and larger rotors weigh at 10 lbs...
