    I have a 1.6 liter and wanted to a few mods to improve how it is.
    Anyone have any ideas...

    why would u swap a 2ZZ-GE into AE series corolla.. u need so much custom work to fit a 2ZZ into a AE-series corolla cuz the engine is mounted complete opposite..

    i say go for a 4AGZE or 4AGE small port cuz these engine u can get here locally and if the engine hav problems parts isn't that expensive and u don't hav to wait for the parts to come from japan like the 4AGE 20v do... 3SGTE is best swap but needs custom mounts but u'll get the best result bcuz its a turbo motor plus u don't hav spend time waiting for parts from japan if sh!t fails...
