    04 S Offset

I went to wheelmax.com to look for rims for my car, and I clicked the save my car option.

They showed this information on the confirmation screen..

    Year: 2004 Thread Size: 12x1.5
Model Name: Corolla Center Bore: 54.1
Make Year: Toyota Bolt Pattern: 5x100

Is the center bore the same as offset? If not, what is it?

    Thanks.

the offset on the 2zz XRS is +45

Thanks, CB. What do you think of these? I'm buying them this month I think.

I waned something that had a more bmwish look than a sporty/aggressive style like the 5 and 7 spoke models. Also I like the elagance that black on black has. The silver lip prodives just enough contrast I think.

DAng I would really like the 2nd set, but I don't like the rivet look at all. :(

the stock offset for a 1zz is not +42mm... that is the most popular offset for aftermarket wheels. I believe the stock offset is close to +50mm. Not sure what the "center bore" is, but it wouldnt suprise me if it is the stock offset. It does sit inside the wheelwell quite a bit.

If you are going with aftermarket wheels find something close to a +42 offset, that will put you flush with the wheelwells.

Thanks. I remember the ADR Flite 5's (If I remember correctly) my buddy let me try out from his wrx were +48 I think. They felt good for the 2 weeks that I got to ride around on them. That is what I'm looking for is a more "flush" look. I couldn't believe how much that changed the look of my car. To be able to see a bit of the tire visible from a rear view, really gave it a good look I think.

That's what I'm trying to acheive, when I say the BMW look. I see a lot of times their wheels come close to flush. That's why I also want to go with 225 instead of a 215 or lower width. The grip with that mm is really nice too. :)

the center bore is the size of the hole in the center of the wheel that the logo piece sits... its helpful to know so that you know that your hub will fit in there and so that when balencing the wheel you know what size adapter to use...
