I dropped off my new car this morning. I am getting 22% the whole way around and a 6 inch sun strip. Any words of advice? I know you can't roll done your windows for about 5 days, any thing else i should be in for?

don't wash the windows for another couple of days after that...and DON'T use stuff with ammonia in it...that's what turns tint purple.

i usually park my car under direct sunlight to be sure it dries up. i don't park in the garage. i wait for a good 7 days at least before rolling down the windows. don't clean/wipe the inside until the tint is completely dried up. use water, don't use windex or stuff like that.

Use a 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water mixture. It won't hurt the tint, is very cheap, and works as well as anything you can buy in the store

Good Price, places around here wants $220 for 20% all around, which is way too much for me.

that looks very good, i've never heard of 22%, i thought it was 20 or 35 w/ no in between, mine is 20% for $100 w/ lifetime warranty so i'm happy w/ it but it's real dark, makes the car nice and shady. the tint is on the inside, i've never seen a tint laid on the outside like James said, but o well. the tint really sets off the red of your car, looks nice.

not a bad price for that level of tint...but it's a shame the warranty is for just 5 years.

I am also getting my car tinted at a local shop for $150 with lifetime warranty against bubbles/ripping/fading/changing colors. I am thinking of getting 20% and my appointment is for next week saturday. my main question is will police pull me over if i have 20% tint around the car (not on the windshiled). My friend has 15% on his sunfire and he passes cops all the time without any problems and gets pulled over every once in a while, but the cops say it is fine because they can see through the windows with a light. Do you think 20% tint will attract the police? ( i dont want a ticket...)

Depends on your state laws man, cause every state is different

state law is 35%, but i dont know if they will be that picky.
