    wheel question

ok so i have the stock steel wheels as you can see from my sig. Today i was at work and i wanted to switch my two front tires because as you may know i like doing burnouts and my right front is basically bald and my left front has a little bit on it so i wanted to switch them so i could get better grip in the rain and do some more burnouts beforei get new tires. Well i jacked the car up and started taking the wheel off and i took off the center cap and there is like some kind of lock on the wheels. like i took off all the nuts and it wouldnt come off and there was some thing like screwed on it with a piece of metal goin throught the middle. Ill try to take a picture if no one knows what im talking about, but how the hell do you get this thing off? I was baffled. I didnt want to break anythign tho. Please help someone so i can do it tomorow at work.

I could be wrong, but i think you're talking about the drive shaft... that does not need to come off... the wheel is probably rusted to the disk brake, so you're going to have to give the tire a couple of hits with your hand (or a hammer) for it to come loose.

now that i look at it again i think what i was talking about is on the driveshaft. I guess today im gonna just have to whack it a few times, i tried with my hands and i couldnt get it so ill just give it some smacks with a hammer. thanks
