TRD HIDS INSTALLED!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my TRD HIDs installed today. It replaced my whole stock harness wires and is running off the battery itself also. Its really really white with no tint of blue. The capsules are Phillips 4300k D2Rs..hehe i'll try to get pics up as soon as possible

Is this a replacement headlamp assembly made by TRD or is this a headlamp that you modified with the Lexus HID's?

it's basically the same as any aftermarket HID kit, except made by TRD

TRDrolla - Is this "kit" still legal for US sale? Have the D2R capsules been rebased to fit a 9006 socket? Where can I buy one of these HID kits? And did you use your factory headlamps or a JDM set?

the kit was never available in the US, the only place i've seen it is on TRD Japan's site adn the cost comes to 1100 USD after a conversion from yen to Dollar. i believe he got lucky that he got the kit that cheap cuz in reality it is not and isnt even available for sale in the US.

So $300 is helluva deal... where can I replicate that deal?

i got it off ebay luckily..because i guess no one ever enters "TRD HID" ...and no its not rebased....i had to change the ring which it came wiht to fit the D2R capsule..and it wasnt plug and play iether...it replaced my stock harness wires and had to connect to the battery also...and i still have factory headlamps ...its not bad at all teh beam pattern and cut offs...i juss need to find a semi well lit parking lot and take pictures like Zero told me ..cuz i got a crappy camera :cry:

and oh yeah..i never installed the Lexus HIDs hehe..i still have them i'll sell them for cheap how bout $215 with shipping? anyone interestesd? comes iwht 2 Lexus Ballast and 2 D2R Osram Xenarc Capsules came from an IS300

yea but most aftermarket HIDS are juss plug and play and coems wiht extremely high kelvin rating
