    I dont know the exact accuracy of this site, nor do most of us care about the tint laws but for those who do here ya go...

    sweet site...i asked my uncle about tinting laws (he's chief of police in a neighboring town)...he didn't even know what the laws were...but he did say that regardless of the actual laws that if your car is tinted you are much more likely to be pulled over for another violation...example he used: old ford taurus doing 10 mph over the limit may be let go...but nice car with tint would more likely get pulled over

    Eaxactly, I think i'm gonna keep it legal and run 35% all around (Oregon). The price we pay to have a nice car...

    unless you are in a minivan, you can have that on 20's and all blank tint and the guy will still think its just a "family"

    i believe that the two front windows can not go lower than 35% but the back two windows can be as dark as you want. The reason i think for having 35% is that the police have to see your movement from behind if they pull you over.

    It all depends where you are. In Toronto you can paint all the windows behind the driver black, but the driver and passenger windows can't be below 50%. In the states, they are more concerned about visbility when pulling people over - they want to see what you're doing. The further south you go, the worse it gets.
