    The New Ride

Well after 2 years of driving an old beat up 90 camry because I wrecked my 2002 corolla S, I finally purchased a new vehicle.

Thanks for all the replies....I love it. I don't really have any complaints about it. Now my SN finally matches the car I drive.

I think the lesson to be learned is always have a fire extinguisher in your car. Would have really helped

That was a royal suck on the suck-o meter. Guess the firewall is only good enough to allow you to escape the vehicle. Plan on having a turbo, you should plan on having a fire extinguisher.

Thanks. Yea I'm sure it is faster for now. I haven't decided on which exhaust to get for the ride yet. Once that is done gonna get a Champion Motorsports ECU remap. But the first mod on the car will be tint which the dealership threw in for free.

GHL makes a very good turboback setup but its kind of expensive. As to the Champion Motorsports ECU, Im not too familiar with it, what kind of gains and whats the cost? btw that video watching it again they did have a fire extinguisher I think they sprayed the wrong part though...

Champion motors the same company that runs the two RS6's and the R8's in the Speed World Challenge has opened a motorsports company for aftermarket work on audi's VW's and other vehicles. One of my close friends is a tech for the race team and I'm trying to get him to hook me up with a remap that they will be offering to sale soon. I might even get it for free.

    here's an article about them:

o well then go for that for sure. I was going to recomend some flashes but I guess you wont need that. For comparrison the revo one I have would put your car up to 207 hp, but it put my car to around 200, much bigger boost on my car because its kinda unoptimised. But that cost me 500, where as if you can get somehting like that for free then thats awesome.
