i was just wondering how much a good paint job should cost. i was thinking of blue, with silver metallic flakes.

well depending where you go to. different places have different prices.

Ok I have a 3 friends that work at an auto body shop and 1 that works at a custom paint shop.

Heres some estimates for you

my friends said it depends mainly on size and color choice
i asked my friend that works in the custom paint shop about your color choice and since a corolla isnt big he said if u take it to a shop and take headlights tail lights off, it may lower the price since its less work for the painters.
But his estimate ranged from 1200-3500$ dollars just blue
with the fancy extra silver flakes may run 1300-4000$
Thats basicly the best paint job you can get with that price ranges. But if you want the entire frame done too like in and out. Theres places where you basicly send your car to and they take it apart in and out and they paint every piece of the car but thats way too much which would be buying a used or new car.
