Installing Pioneer deck

I'm about to purchase a Pioneer deck from by buddy its the DEH 1500. How hard will it be to install? I believe I'll need the wiring harness adapter. Also the big thing is the size differnce between the two, stock being double DIN and New one is a single, any idea's on how to get this to look right? I want to avoid having a huge gaping space in my dash. Thanks for the help.

That is what the dash kit is for. You must purchase one of these in order for it to look good.
