    im getting frusterated i cant find anywhere to do the ground . I cant use hte tailight bolts or the trunk latch because my ground wire isnt long enuff to reach teh amp.

    I'm guessing he means for his system. If you're looking for a place to ground, ground it to the tail light bolts. It isn't that expensive to go buy new wire.

    I know your problem, cause I think the ground is supposed to be no longer then 3 feet long, so you are sort of limited to where you ground it too. i had to ground it to the latch bolt, but had to put the amp in a place i didn't want. If I am wrong about the ground length, please let me know!

    I've always been told the same thing... no longer than 3 ft.

    ok this is so weird and makes absolutely no sence but hte ground works i got a working ground. but when i tighten the ground on the amp it turns off. is it possible that the plate isnt good or something i've run out of ideas.

    my ground is 4 ft long :oops: is htat a possibility y it doesnt go on all the time?
