Engine custom silencer?

well since the cops are hunting those down with loud mufflers. since my kinda muffler dont come with a silencer, i wanted to make my own. and is it that hard to do?

yes u can actually... basically just get a pipe and either get someone to bend it for ya or u can hammer it urself...

basically make it into a ice cream cone shap...

and plug ur exhaust...

just jb weld and ur done... quite exhaust....

and sean, does the pipe have to be long as the muffler? the inside that is?

no... it just have to be around... 3-4 inches... long...

at least you wouldn't get it on your car and have to take out your exhaust

well it does a lil. but it cancels out the sound.

and i tried making a silencer with a food can and a pipe. that shit didnt work right. it made my muffler louder.
what other options are there?

turn your stereo up louder so as to make it seem like your exhaust isn't so

what size is your tip?

i have a 3A Racing oval exhaust with 3'' tip. the inside is like 2'' or something.

then i would still get a ticket for disturbing the peace shit.

ok- never mind, b/c i got a 4inch silencer sitting in my room- try to find one on ebay.

just went to eBay and checked, and they didnt have 3'' silencers. thats why i gotta make one.

all my silencer does is rattle like crazy!
