    Bored; Posted Pics *56K? Ouch!*

Most of these pics are from a little day trip we took a few weeks back... it's a place called Hopewell Rocks... It's an area about 45 minutes from here that supposedly has the highest tides in the world... and you can witness it yourself if you have about 12 hours, they'll easily rise a good 18~20 feet on a normal day... and they formed these amazing rock formations and caves...
At the end there's also some pics of my gf, because I still can't believe she's with me, haha...

Heh, I should add... it's closed in the Winter... but as you can see from the walking trail, enough people still go (plus its free in the winter, haha)... it's about 20 minutes of walking in the trail to get to the stairs... the stairs are a good 10 stories high down to the beach... beautiful spot when its not overcast and foggy :S

And don't mind my Integra... it's filthy in that picture :S

love that yellow sign. "if you become trapped by the rising tide, DONT PANIC! Find a comfortable rock just above seaweed level and wait 2-3 hours"

that would suck if you're on a kayak... then the tide goes "rapidly" down... now ur stuck on a rock swaying left and right like a see saw...

The rocks are all too high to pose a danger like that when Kayaking...when the rocks get too low, they crumble... in the pics you can't see, but the bottom of the rocks are thinner than the tops from the water erosion...
