    Bigger Tire Questions???

I'm considering upgrading to a larger tire, in particular a 215/60/R15 not sure of the brand yet. However, I have few questions.
    1) Will this tire fit on the stock '04 LE rim?
    2) What can I expect to notice in the steering and handling?
    3) Is it worth it or should I just stick with the stock size but with a better tire?

Thanks for help you can provide.

A 215/60 is fairly tall..not sure what your stock size is, though.

My stock size is 175/65/14, and I went to 185/60/14 without a problem..

You'd probably be surprised at the handling increase you would receive just by buying really good tires in your stock size :)

Actually, funny thing is 195/60/15 is quite a bit smaller than 185/65/15. The 205/60/15 would be a close match to the 185/65/15. I think stock rim width is 5.0 or 5.5(?) on 03+. If you check on the manufacturer's website (whatever brand you're looking at) or perhaps tirerack, they will give a chart that states the minimum and maximum rim width possible for that particular tire.

The stock tire size is 195/65/R15 and I calulated that the 215/60/515 would be closest to the original diameter of the rim plus tire. I'll have to look at that the chart you mentioned, Trav. Thanks.

Edit: checked out the charts on Tirerack, they all say that for larger tire i need a 6 - 7.5" wide rim. So does anyone know what the width of the stock rim is?
