Best engine plastic cleaning?

    Best engine plastic cleaning?

    yeah, whats the best or fairly product that cleans the plastics in the engine bay?

    i want that wet shine to it....

    wet shine or clean shine? for clean degrease it first then spray a tire shine or something. thats what i do,even though i am not suppose to.

    i've use wax on it before, but doesnt last very long.
    and degrease products that shines but doesnt even last for 1 minute.

    tire shine probly isnt gonna last that long...

    back to black, lasted for 2 months on my tercel at least, full wet shine

    WD-40... but I hate flamable stuff all over my engine...

    Would Armor-All give it that shine you're looking for? It works for tires.. :p

    Rub all your plastic down with Vasolene and get that super shine going on :) J/K don't do that or your engine will be a dirt ball in a week

    i've tried simple green. it cleans grease and dirt off. but doesnt shine at all.

    at wrok we use a water based shine product... don't know where you can get it.. detail shop probly and it lasts for months on out showroom cars... and when I use it on my car it lasts for about a month... I beleave its called supershine... I'll check tonight at work...
