why wouldn't they be? per MD law they're fine.

i mean don't the rear lights have to have a red reflector or something? ... or is it just A reflector? i know that clearing your corners in the headlights are illegal cuz you have to have an amber piece in the front.

I don't think those ones are legal because there's no reflector. To make ur car legal you would have to put reflectors on the back bumper like the Mazda 6 and the is300 have.

I think its legal,as long there a SAE DOT APPROVED...

they are legal... only thing that'll make it illegal is when u install it and put blue or blusih signal instead amber or red for signal

true... they don't have a red reflector on them... however, if i use that 3M red reflective tape and place it in a position similar to the lexus is300 would that be ok?

the mazda6 and lexus have rear red reflectors ont he side below the taillight BUT they light up though.

aslong you have a red reflector some where in the back. look at the new lexus rx330...full clear tail light with led red stop and turn light but the bumper has red reflectors soo they are legal.
