Alpine Tye R 12"

Does anybody have any inputs on the 12" 2005 Alpine Type R Sub? Im looking at putting a good sub in my car which plays well with music, and my friend has a custom ported box with one in it for 150. This is an audio competition box the one sub has reached 130 db! i believe it cauz i sat in the car and it was so loud i had a headache afterwords and my eardrums were rattling.

any inputs on this sub would be great.

I say get these subs cause they are some top notch subs. I had a few friends with them and the sound quality and performance of these subs are very good. They are my favorite kinds of subs infact so go get them!

i had the older type-r's. very happy with them when i had em'. can't go wrong with alpine.

yup theyre all correct. i have a 10" type R and it slams super loud, so i can imagine the 12" would be even louder. i recommend it.

oh alpine is the best!! i ran a 12" sub and it fuckin blew my window lol. it goes well with type r coaxles and type r seperates. thats wut i'm running in my car. hella sweet. 150 thats a good deal. but i got mines for 120 ^_^. do it mang . to bad my fuckin sub blew... stupid box wasn't made 2 specs.

alpine all the way... go with it, ull be very very very happy, nice clean deep bass
