So.. anyone know what addon/program I can use to signon with 2 AIM sn's simultaneously? also something to get rid of those annoying video advertisements?

ummm, the linked screen name utility in the more recent versions of AIM let you sign on multiple names at once.

as for ads, there used to be a way to change registry settings to get rid of them. not any more.

i still use version 5.5.3598

i got it to work with the newest version, but i didnt like the new aim so i downgraded back to the version i have now.
