just curious does the 8th gen TRD axel back exhaust fit on 7th gens? reason asking is because i just might get one from my uncles friend...

You can always hack and weld.

i would just hack and weld aswell. get a good exhaust i got a borla just had a dude custom weld it looks great, but you do lose the 50 state legal thing!!! I would try to retrofit a greddy exhuast!!!

As long as you pass emissions you'll be okay. My whole exhaust system is painted black so it looks stock anyways.

i should mention to you guys that we dont have emissions down here... we have safety checks and recon

yeah from the pics in my haynes manual , the exhaust between the 7th gen and th 8.1 gen looks exactly the same.

the muffler/anything after the catalic converter does not affect smog anyways. I installed a TRD axleback on a 98 before and I can tell you for sure that the hangers are different. The flange piping look like it'll bolt up but I don't think the tip would match the tip cutout on the bumper

If you have a welder, new hangers or shortening the exhaust to fit would be no problem.

cost me 275 was gonna be more but he lowered the price...
