Engine Synthetic engine oil

    I just did an oil change and have been using regular oil.

    I was wondering, can I change to synthetic at any time?

    You shouldn't have any problems changing over to synthetic.

    My Fiance's car has a little over 40000 miles and we just changed it to synthetic without any problems.

    If your engine is leaking oil, however it may increase the leak a little due to the cleaning properties of synthetic oil.

    i have been using M1 5-30 for 20000 miles, and now i m using the trd oil filters
    so far so good
    and i change the oil every 5000 miles
