    The only similarity I see is the side profile. The ends look totally different. Car companies all design cars similar to one another eventually.

    The thing with hybrids is function defines form. The ugly shape was not created because some designer out there actually thought the egg shape car looks good (at least I hope not). The shape of the prius and both generation of insights were created through multiple drag coefficient simulations in wind tunnels. And the retarded hatchback configuration is because a hybrid's battery pack render the space of a normal truck useless.

    honda step up to the plate and made a sedan thats surprising but i think the first gen insight looks better looking.

    I thought the Civic Hybrid was enough for the 4dr market. I would've stuck to a more compact 2dr.
