    How to measure offset

How do I measure the offset of my rims? I can measure the width, but it's not going to be measured in mm. Is it going to always be precise or are they different for each manufacturer?

I guess you could lay your wheel flat on the ground, take a piece of wood and lay it on top of the rim and then measure from the wheel center to the piece of wood.....i dunno, i always thought the wheel specs were on the wheel somewhere....

or easier... look on the inside part of your wheel where it bolts. you'll see a circle that says "ET(somethingsomething###)" thats ur offset.
