    your opinion?

so i have been thinking about my life with my rollla and i need some of your guys opinions...
    A. mod the corolla and keep it until it dies
    1. tein s-techs
    2. struts (maybe kyb's)
    3. new tires (dont know yet)
    4. rims (slipstreams or kazera)
    5. SRI (injen or a decent one on ebay)
    6. maybe if i decide to stick with the rolla turbo it up!
    or
    B. sell the rolla
    1. i would buy a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII or IX after i graduate from high school, get a job, and get enough money to buy one....
so those are my options tell me what you guys think i should do cuz like i really want an evo i have always loved them and i know if i get one imma go nuts and love it forever, but the corolla has a butt load of potential from looks to semi-performance(turbo) so you guys help me out...

i'd go with the lancer as well but take into effect time and money and cost of insurance. i'd probably just keep the rolla. where its at right now and just save up some money and do what ever is it i have to do to get what i want. It may take time but it will be worth it. just start saving and don't spend anymore than you have to on the Rolla for regular maintience.

i say sell the rolla... and get a evo or s2k.

youll love those two rides better a modded corolla.

i thought i loved my turbo modded corolla.. but now... i like cars "modded" directly from the factory...

but if money is a issue... might as well stick with the corolla and dont mod it at all....

I love my stook too, and it was a smart decision.

But if I would've had to wait, i wouldve stuck with my rolla and did no modding... better on the wallets.

Lancer...use the rolla for now and deal with it until u can get a lancer. No point in modding it if you plan on trading it in, IMO.

Graduate, get a job, save up some money, then come in asking what you should buy

If you are wanting performance - then wait for the Lancer. The Corolla makes a great daily driver - but you will never get your investment back from any mods that you pump into the car. Since you are still in HS - I wouldn't even worry about that now. I'd save up money and not mod anything - use it to enjoy life, pay for college, stay out of debt, etc. - there is plenty of time later to get into debt to your eyeballs :D But by then, you should have a pretty steady job and hopefully a house - then picking up an EVO would be no problem at all.

Keep the corolla, finish your studies, save-up and buy your Evo. That's better than living from one paycheck to another.

If money is not an issue, tell your parents you want one for graduation.

I say keep the rolla unit you graduate UNIVERSITY, not highschool. You gonna kill yourself in the evo in your age. We see way too much accidents about kids have high power car and kill themself. I'm not saying you're a bad driver or street racer. But trust me, don't get anything powerful until you're old enough to handle.

insurance will kill you badly. just for my 82' BMW 320i I paid out the a$$ for it , simply because of my age and it was a BMW, and two speeding tickets.

I dont see how'd you'll have money to buy a evo when you graduate HS and become a full time college student. Unless you can work full time while taking 16+ units.. Being a full time college student I can barely afford lunch much less an evolution..

I don't see how he can't get the car. There's only two ways he can though:

    1. Mommy and Daddy buy it, or
    2. Go to school during the day and sell crack at night.

    lol.

ok well how is it that once i turned 18 this year my insurance went down...plus before i was 18 they asked for my report card and saw that i was a good student and gave a little discount lol...idk i think it will make a little difference

anyways, its not like im planning on buying the evo RIGHT outta high school, imma settle in my college/university first with a parttime (hoepfully) good paying job, then maybe start shopping for an evo. mom and dad could help out cuz now i go to a private school and ask for an arm and a leg from out family to pay for tuition so once im gone imma be saving a butt load of money which can go towards a down payment or whatever...
