I feel he's just singling out muslims. Which isn't right. I can respect his opinion if it were a general statement. Goode is acting like all muslims are evil.

No I can see at least where he's coming from. No one should apologize for their beliefs. He believes to be strong the government should be Christian rooted. You're telling me that some Muslims don't believe the other way around? :) He did not insult or use slanderous terms at all. He just believes to preserve the way things are we must do what he believes.

In a way he is right. People from other religions and faiths will change this country from the way it is. Whether that is good or bad depends on what you believe and how strongly you believe in it I think.

The kind of ironic thing is separation of church and state seems to be a good thing, until now when other faiths enter the picture more and more and God moves out of the picture more and more. Pledge of allegiance, In God we trust, and more and more increasing stories of the Christian God offending others.

If you ask me not to be non-tolerant but it scares me a bit to look down the road and wonder where the nation is heading. You make think I'm over thinking but I think that these situations will not fix themselves for certain.

Nothing against Muslims as leaders at all, or any other faith for that matter. However, it stinks to see some traditions start to break down, although I would not want to wish a Muslim to swear in the the Christian Bible that has as much meaning to them as the Koran does us.

Kind of torn here. Do not want to impose, but I do not want to give up the things we have. lol

separation of church and state should be just that, using the bible is just as bad as using the koran.

too bad a lot of old timers in the gov think that USA = Christianity.

my opinion is that if you want to be a congressman or leader of this country...FOLLOW IT'S RITUALS OR ABANDON YOUR POSITION!! why should we adapt to other rituals? let me ask you this...if an american was elected to a muslim country as a leader or high spot in their government...would we swear in on the bible...hell no...they would "make" us adapt their rituals....if we adapt...say good bye to the country we live in and all of it's rights...soon they'll start bitching on how revealing our women are and "demand" that they wear those retarded garments...it's cool in their countries cause that's how "THEIR" country works..not ours...so in response to should he apologize...no..he should not....
