    Replace Rear View Mirror

    How do I remove and replace the Rearview mirror on an 02 Corolla? Any help would be great.

    Its basically held on there by glue. If you can get it hot enough the glue will melt. Once you remove it you can go to local auto store and ask them for which glue to use. They should know because my cousins mirror fell right off on a really really hot summer day. We went to the store and they told us what to use. My windsheild was replaced a year or two ago and the guy that did it did not do a good job puttin the mirror back on. On a few hot days I had the glue resin drip down my windsheild then freeze there when it got cooler.

    I'm not trying to take off the whole thing just the mirror not the piece that its mounted to

    Goku, carefully tap upwards on the base of the mount for mirror. It should loosen up.
