this is from a few months ago when it was still warm out.




then last month this happened

and about 2 weeks after that i blew an oil line while driving on the highway which sprayed oil all over the downpipe which then caught on fire. pulling over and turning off the car stopped the fire. i haven't gotten under it yet but i don't think the damage will be too bad. i can't drive it so i have to fix the motor before i can get the body fixed so it's going to be awhile before i can drive it but once it's all done it will be better than it was before.

looks pretty good, dosnt look like to much body damage either

Hood, fender, bumper cover, headlight assembly & eyelid..it's not going to be cheap

along with the upper radiator support and the unibody needs to get pulled and squared.

brand new the parts would be like 2 grand. i bought all of the body parts used for about 500 but spent another few hundred getting a font lip and some other little stuff.

and i live in the south suburbs. munster is actually across the street from me.

Tweaked the unibody too? That sucks - I hope you can get her back to good-as-new again!

at the moment yes. the green one is my first MR2, a 91 NA, that i got a couple years ago. then i borrowed money from my parents to buy the turbo over the summer. then the NA was up for sale to pay back my parents but i have been driving it after my turbo caught fire. i also have a 93 elantra to drive in the snow but it's apart in the garage right now because it needs a new t-belt and tensioner.

Sorry to hear about that little streak of mis-fortune, hopefully it all gets sorted out in a timely matter.
