I need to move to TX..lol. In VA, you can't even get a condo for 120k. The minimum around here for a condo in a GOOD area is about 300k. In an OKAY area, its about 250k to 275k. In the hood, you're lookin at about 190k to 240k.

600-700k for a house like that around here. We have a few condos that are pretty small. ~120k each.

if at that down here a house with a bout 1500 sqtf is about $45K, mine which was built back in the 70's and is a little over 4K sqft was 98K back in 97' now its worth a lot more but the base of all houses down south of where JT lives start at around 30K. pretty good considering the lot would only run about 8 to 10K.

don't get me wrong other houses here can run up to about 8.5 MIL as the highest i have see so far and there are certian gated communities that run even higher, Since being in the MC i can deal with a very small house which i think is better since the house we have is huge for a family of three when i lived at home with my parents. the only good thing i loved about my house was the 6- car garage.
