    Nice... I'm going to build a new system in December to run Vista at its full potential. I can't wait for the DirectX10 Graphics Cards. They will run the aero desktop with multiple monitors with less drag on the CPU then the old ass legacy desktop without any cool features.

    ok so i work at CC as a comptuer tech and we were just informed all new pc's sold that have the sticker on it that says vista ready will have a copy of vista shipped to them for free once it comes out. So thats like 300 dollars right there.... for free

    i'm not sure i'll find out tomorow but we just foudn out bout it today and today was my first official day

    but, i have vista ultimate, i got it part of that free trial microsoft was giving out to anyone who asked for it and its pretty cool

    I believe they come with home, and the coupons give the option of paying $100 more for Premium or w/e

    so here's the deal
    if you buy a new computer/laptop u get a copy of windows vista ultimate only if it has windows media center on it, if you buy a computer with windows xp pro u get vista business edition

    we don't know all we were told is that it applies to our computers. I think it applies for all because i saw this on the microsoft website as well

    I think it only applies to computers bought after a set date, thru registered partners (dell and such)

    Hahaha, yeah thats the ol' trophy :D This is my video game area. I've got all my consoles hooked up to that TV so I can just kick back on the futon and rock. This way my wife doesn't get pissed when I take over the living room and also prevents me from laying in bed and playing video games which is dangerous cause I'll never stop playing :D
