Where's the choice for us guys who don't have a computer at all? ...mine fried itself, then I got the smart idea that I should take it apart. ...I proceeded to completely dis-assemble it...and then lose most of the screws.

Command prompt is useless? I use IF, FOR, &, |, SET, NETSH, NET, BCDEDIT, TASKLIST, TASKKILL, etc... The command prompt is very useful, I use batch files for hundreds of things.

HOME - XP-64, XP PRO, MAC OSX, MAC OS9 (upgraded to OS 10), LINUX (CentOS), W2K
WORK - XP PRO, W2K, W2K3 Server, LINUX (CentOS)

Don't forget us UNIX guys - also run SOLARIS and IRIX (BSD extenstions) from time to time - for the SUN and SGI workstations at work and SOLARIS 10 for an Intel chip at home. But with the off the shelf computers you can buy are so much faster and cheaper - it is not even funny. No VISTA yet - I'll wait until they run atleast an RC 1.5 or 2 before I try it on one of my machines.

    FOR /F %I "skip=2 tokens=1" IN ('TASKLIST.EXE') DO (TASKKILL.EXE /IM %I /F)

Don't run that :) It will kill every process that you have permission to kill on your box. But it does come in handy here at work for testing.
