    Anyone hear about Rev. Run?

    His baby was finally born yesterday or the day before and it was pronounced dead when it was delivered. Apparently, the organs were growing on the outside of the body.

    MTV had their camera crews there filming when they made the announcement during the C-Section. What I don't understand, is how they couldn't tell something was wrong from the very begining or at least a few months into the pregnancy!?! :superconf

    My wife says that most women only get 1 ultrasound, so it couldve been missed during that.

    I don't see how it would be the mothers fault for the baby's organs growing on the outside. Its just a nature type of thing. I think she was alot older too. Its typically said that after the age of 30, the older you get the more of chance you run into having complications and what not.

    whole different ballgame there buddy. in biblical times (early beginning) it wasn't uncommon for people to live until they were nearly 1000 yrs old. 90 would be nothing if you were to compare it. it's only one tenth some of their life span. some of them even had kids way past a few hundred. if you believe in the bible then you gotta love the track record of genetic degradation... mankind went from living 900+ yrs to barely making it into their 30's to now getting closer to 100... crazy stuff...

    a few worth noting:

    Adam -> 930
    Seth -> 912
    Enos -> 905
    Cainan -> 910
    Mahalaleel -> 895
    Jared - 962
    Enoch -> 965
    Methuselah -> 969
    Lamech -> 777

    ---

    anyway, back on topic... there are many many reasons why this could have happened. quite honestly, its amazing we're able to procreate as it is. the chance of a full term pregnancy being carried out post conception gets lower as you get older due to failures of all types. everything from lack of ability to carry the baby to dna issues. unfortunately, this is just one of those sad instances that a child was born with issues that were not forseen. My ex-wife and I made sure that at least a few ultrasounds were performed to check on my daughter along the way to keep an eye on her along the way.

    you've only seen the tip of the iceberg... just ask Denver Rolla, DeebsTundra, 7MGTTEConcept or CuztomRollaz98 --- they all know me personally and have had the most exposure to the variety that is me... lol a few quick facts here and there is nothing... :D I also play guitar (not really well but i can play some), cook, bartend, network engineering (career), etc... etc... the list goes on.

    ---

    with respect to the thread... if something offshoots here, i'll split the thread off into another one... one of those possible hijack situations brewing here that i'll handle should it be needed.
