    OUTRNNR's Stage 1 Completion

I'm not really sure what else to call it: Intake/Exhaust/Tune, so I'll call it Stage 1 (why not?).

Volant Cool Air Intake (17 AWHP)
    Magnaflow Catback Exhaust (6 AWHP)
Split Sec PCU Air Fuel Control (8 AWHP and dyno tuned to 13:1 A/F Ratio)

I went to MAC Autosport in Parker to have the Split Sec installed and tuned. Before being tuned we ran a baseline to get the incremental gain from the intake, 17 AWHP. The dyno graph shows a slight loss of power in the low end and then at about 3700 rpms it becomes more powerful with peak power gains coming in at 5300 rpms.

When I put the SS PCU on and tuned it the low end improved dramatically and was validated by much improved throttle response and torque in the low end on the street. Over my very first baseline run, where I just had the catback, the stage 1 setup gave me an additional 25 WHP and 16 WFT-LBS (235/271 over the 210/255 with just the catback) and there are substantial gains over the whole rpm band. I estimate that the entire intake/exhaust/tune gave me 30 WHP and 30 WFT-LBS over stock. That translates to about 300 crank HP and 340 crank TQ, as compared to the 260/306 stock.

I can't figure out how to post pictures (keeps telling me I'm over my quota when my pic is only 68kb), so if you really want to see them maybe I can email them to a moderator (Deebs?) and they can post them...

Hope you enjoy, I know I am...Next stop, Bandimere (come on 15's!!)

I don't know what it is about vBulletin and hosting pictures...but all the sites I am on that are powered by vBulletin do the same thing. Try a remote source, such as imageshack or photobucket.

Nice gains by the way. I'd like to see some more power, that is if I manage to keep my truck past this week.

Here they are on photo bucket:

This one is just the intake incremental gain (Exhaust vs. Intake+Exhaust:(

This one is overall gain vs. just exhaust:
