    Tomorrow morning at 11:00am PST Yahoo! will be hosting a live webcast with Transformers writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, where they will be announcing the names of all the robots that will appear in the film.
    After the announcement, Roberto and Alex will be answering questions from fans via the live webcast. Fans can visit the film's official website to start posting questions today! (or send them directly to questions@transformersmovie.com). The site will also have the link to the webcast up soon.

    Transformers, directed by Michael Bay, hits theaters on July 4, 2007

    Yes, the original voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen will be doing the voice for the movie... I'm so fucking stoked about this movie you have no idea... lol i've been waiting for this since i was a kid. Peter Cullen was also Ironhide as well.. he did some other voices for other transformers but those are the most noted. btw... since you have a kid you might get a kick out of this... Peter Cullen also does the voice of Eyeore in the Winnie the Pooh movies. :)

    rumor has it the original megatron voice is returning as well... Frank Welker, but thats just a rumor. He also did the voice of Galvatron in the series... the movie was Leonard Nimoy. :)

    No shit?? thats awesome...When I was a child, I watched Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh over and over and over again the same way my son watched Finding Nemo, the Incredibles, etc over and over again......and I just introduced Winnie the Pooh to him again because the first time it didnt keep his attention. Hes loving it.

    Over at the other forum I'm at, www.tfw2005.com, there is a LOT of discussion over the movie. The original voice actor for Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) has been casted, and Frank Welker who was the one who voice both Ironhide (who's in the movie) and Megatron. There are some rumors that Leonard Nimoy may voice Megatron in the live-action movie. He voiced Galvatron in the animated movie. Frank Welker also voiced other characters such as Fred from the Scoobie-Doo movies and shows, and MANY of the G1 characters.

    In case you can't tell, I'm a BIG Transformers fan. My bedroom is adorned with them.

    i've got quite a few myself... :) *looks over at optimus-prime* the rest of mine are in boxes... but prime... he stays here and hangs out with me. lol btw... welker didn't do ironhide, cullen did... :D

    Frank Welker's most commonly known transformer voices -> Megatron, Galvatron (series only, movie was Leonard Nimoy). LaserBeak, Mirage, RatBat, Ravage, Rumble, Soundwave, Steeljaw, Wheelie, Frenzy, Sharkticon

    other welker voices -> bill and ted's bogus journey - easter bunny, devil and... STATION!
    since Eric mentioned Gremlins -> Stripe :)

    I believe Welker also did the screams of Spock in Star Trek III ... i always found that funny because Welker was doing a voice over for one of Leonard Nimoy's characters in a movie when Nimoy did the voice over for one of Welkers characters in a movie... lol

    Peter Cullen's most commonly known transformer voices -> Ironhide & Optimus Prime

    other welker voices -> already mentioned Eyeore. :), other mogwai & gremlins, etc...

    on the subject of gremlins... the voice of Gizmo was Howie Mandel

    pretty much all the voices i can recall... lol theres a huge list on imdb.com for each of them as well ... welker has had a more diverse career doing many voices for many characters, but cullen has pretty much kept to Eyeore and the transformers.

    You know I joke with my folks all the time that they ruined my childhood because I got every damn Transformer except for Optimus Prime!! This is going to be an awesome movie if the trailer gives any hint!

    You should go over to www.TFW2005.com and see some of the leaked images. I can't crosslink them here, but check them out. The new figures look NOTHING like their old G1 versions.
