    Dodged a bullet this morning...

Coming around a sweeping blind entrance ramp from one highway to another...
(If you know anything about the merge in Denver from I-25 NB to I-70 EB...it's not a matter of if it will stop, it's a matter of WHERE it will stop)

Chick in the brand new Altima behind me was following too close as it was. I have a tendancy to back off on this corner, because people like to lock up the brakes.

Sure enough, I saw the back-end of the Ranger lift up and heard the tires start to squeal from him jamming down on the brakes. I checked my mirror and just slid over into the right lane...looking into my driver's side mirror just in time to see the Altima slam into the back of the Ranger about 40 mph.

    *Whew*

Drive in GA, AZ, or TX... I've seen and heard of some of the WORST drivers in those states, and I've driven and ridden all over AZ and TX.

NY and NJ drivers are nothing compared to VA and MD drivers. well to me at least. Coming from the Tri-State area, I *think* we're a bit more cautious. Some drivers down here are just crazy...oh and VA drivers can't drive in snow to save their lives..lol. Did I mention they like to ride ur ass as well in the snow? wtf?!

Then again, my wife, who was born and raised in VA, thinks that NJ and NY drivers are insane..lmao.

ahh..colombia...todavia necesito ir a colombia a conocer a mi abulea, tia's y tio's. But for some odd reason, my dad is not too keen about going there.

    I agree... lol

The worst places I've ever had to drive:

Georgia, Virginia into Washington, DC, Maryland into Washington, DC, and last but not least.... St Fucking Louis.

My commute home from work :)

    My commute TO work.

Id much rather drive into downtown DC from MD than to Northern Virginia. I wish I worked in the heart of DC, but I work right outside of DC....about 10 minutes from the Pentagon down route 95.

In AZ the traffic gets bad when all the snow birds start arriving from up north. Plus,
    when it's between 110-115° this doesn't help.

Hey, down here in South West Florida we have not only the snowbirds, but a year round population of 85+ that can't see over the wheel and if thats not a bad combination the um, how do I say this sensitively...the er...um....ILLEGAL population down here is ridiculous, they can't drive for sh*t and if you get in a wreck w/ them you are SOL--no license, no insurance, no citizenship.

to each side, kinda like double from here, 2 lanes each side of the road.

anyways, it was like a walmart parking lot for a highway to me, and people were driving like 75~80mph, even geezers, where I live, I'm the mad man at 60~65mph
